The world’s first over-water art gallery, dedicated to Art for Peace. It showcases the works of Professor Lin Xiang Xiong while welcoming artists from around the world, serving as an international platform for cultural exchange and peace dialogue.
This eight-story art museum built above the sea embodies more than six decades of artistic creation by Professor Lin Xiang Xiong and is founded upon the core mission of “Art for Peace.” An international cultural platform with a collection of over a thousand works and more than four hundred pieces on display throughout the year, the gallery renews its presentations through regular rotations, offering the public a continuous experience of diverse visual narratives and humanistic reflection.
The 2nd Floor, Art Seed Garden, nurtures the next generation through art education. The 3rd to 6th floors form the main exhibition area, currently centred on the four major themes of Professor Lin Xiang Xiong—Story of Xiang Xiong, Story of Nanyang, The Vicissitudes of Life, and Story of Nature. These themes trace his long-term exploration of individual destiny, Nanyang culture, social transformation and the philosophy of nature. The 6th Floor is a flexible and open international exhibition platform that will progressively welcome distinguished artists and curated projects from around the world, making the gallery a nexus for cross-cultural dialogue and artistic innovation.
The 7th Floor houses a special exhibition hall, while the 8th Floor contains the international collaboration offices and a multifunctional conference space designed for academic forums, art summits and global conversations on peace.
Founded through the personal commitment of Professor Lin Xiang Xiong, the vision of the gallery extends far beyond the individual. It seeks to use art as a bridge—inviting people from different cultures to reflect on our shared human destiny, ecological future and world peace—transforming this site above the sea into an open platform for audiences across the globe.
