About the exhibition

Scars of War – An International Photography and Art Exhibition is an international cultural initiative that brings together humanitarian documentation and contemporary art to explore the enduring human consequences of armed conflict.

Organized by the International Campaign to Ban Landmines – Cluster Munition Coalition (ICBL - CMC), the Global Chinese Arts & Culture Society, and the Lin Xiang Xiong Art Gallery, the exhibition features 38 documentary photographs by Alison Locke, Cory Wright, Giovanni Diffidenti, and Werner Anderson, alongside four original artworks by Professor Lin Xiang Xiong.

The Scar of War Special Exhibition also marks the 10th anniversary series of his initiatives of Art for Peace, a journey from Paris to Penang that transforms artistic expression into global humanitarian action.
